1st Cholangio Ball – Adrian Santaguida Legacy

Oh What A Night!
28th March 2026 marked our very first Cholangio Ball, held in honour of Adrian Santaguida’s Legacy in Melbourne – an evening of courage, connection, remembrance, and hope.
The night was created to honour those we love, remember those we have lost, and stand together in support of everyone affected by cholangiocarcinoma (bile duct cancer). It was truly special to see our Cholangio community come together – patients, families, friends, and supporters – all united for one important cause.
Guests enjoyed a beautiful three-course meal, beverages, guest speakers, entertainment, and live and silent auctions, while the room was filled with warmth, generosity, energy, and heartfelt connection throughout the evening.
Thank you to the 220 people who supported our very first Cholangio Ball. Whether you attended, donated, sponsored, shared a post, contributed auction items, or supported from afar, you were part of what made the night so meaningful and memorable.
Together, we raised an incredible $28,309. This amazing result is only possible because of a community that truly believes in and supports the work we do.
The funds raised will help support vital patient-focused programs that provide guidance, connection, practical support, and hope for patients, caregivers, and families navigating this journey.
A huge thank you to all our sponsors, donors, supporters, and volunteers who helped bring the evening to life, and to everyone who filled the room with such love and support.
From the heartfelt moments to the laughter, conversations, and shared memories, the evening was a powerful reminder of why we do what we do – and this is only just the beginning.
If you took photos or would love to see some of the special moments captured throughout the night, you can view and upload them here.
We would love to see the night through your eyes 💚
